Mould Description
I love this soap mould! It's a simple round biscuit shaped design, but you can make soaps that look yummy enough to eat!
You could make simple single flat backed soaps with one mould, but if you're feeling adventurous why not use two moulds and make a nice chunky double biscuit with a soap filling inside that looks like cream!!
I made the soaps in the picture by first putting a few dabs of one colour soap into the mould, then pouring the other colour on top of that to make them look like chocolate chip cookies! To stick them both together I then used a different coloured soap in the middle.
Each single flat backed soap you make from one mould will have a diameter of approx. 3½" (85mm) and they will be approx. ½" (14mm) deep. Making a single soap like this will give you a soap biscuit that weighs approx. 2½oz (75g).
If you put 2 together with some filling inside then the finished weights of your soaps will be variable because it all depends on how much filling you put inside.
